Image: Brooklyn before and after Demodex

Meet Brooklyn, male dog, aged 1 year.
This Demodex has affected him since March 2014 and today as it shown on the picture above, he looked healthier than before. We stop taking him to the Vet as it cost real high for us for twice a week of treatment. So we decide to giving home treatment, we do as best as we can do. But we realise that it will takes time to get him back to be normal as we found the fact that the weather mostly knocking down his health when it turns to humid or hot. This changing will making him scratching all the time and it will damage his skin surface and some wounds will appear. When it happens, he will stop moving, and got fever. We assume his wounds infected through his nails while he scratching.

When the the weather turns to be rainy, he will be OK but will still refuse to finish his meal if the wounds still hurts him and the fever hasn't gone yet. The picture above shown his wounded face, but they already dry and Brooklyn feels much better. He can join with Sam and Pinschy playing together.

Images: Paris (Gadis) before and after Demodex

Meet Paris, a female dog aged 1 year.
We daily call Paris as Gadis (means girl), because as Indonesian, we find it a bit weird in our tongue when we mention "Paris" and Gadis seems to refuse that name also, she prefer to be called Gadis rather than Paris.

Gadis infected Demodex since November 2013. We moving her immediately to our rent house to prevent others infected. But her disease become more and more bad since then. She is still in treatment and another fact we found : beside Demodex, we assume she also having problem with her heart. She falls faint in sudden and we never know why, her legs keep shivering and more seen clearly when she raises up her one front leg, lit shiver looks like people who suffering from Parkinson.

She still in bad situation as shown on the picture above. Her opened-infected-wounds along with falling hair, those wounds once dry but then back again especially become worse when the weather change into humid.

Images: Boston before Demodex, when he was in critical condition and his present situation.

Meet Boston, male dog, aged 1 year.
Different with Brooklyn and Gadis, Boston was almost died. We were believe that he couldn't make it when all his hair drastically lost, he refused to had something and always hiding in the corner or dark place. One night we found him collapse, unmoving, and we quite afraid that it would the last day for Boston. We gave him salt water as a first aid then followed with warm milk. We ran him to the Vet the next morning.

Even though it took time to get her hair back, but Boston looks more strong today. But the same indication also occur, he can't stand the weather when it turns humid. Same as Brooklyn and Gadis he will starts scratching all the time until his skin bleeding.

For information : Brooklyn, Gadis and Boston are brother and sister. Our Pinschy gave them birth and here they are. The first baby born  was Chester (RIP), then Brooklyn, Gadis and Boston. Sam is their Father.
